What no filter means here

Three things are different from a mainstream chatbot.

• The model is not told to refuse. Each character has a prompt that describes who they are and how they talk. There is no second prompt that lists forbidden topics, and no classifier that scans your message before the model sees it.
• The models are picked for roleplay. The site runs several text models, and each one was tested on long, explicit roleplay before it went live. A model that breaks character or loops is removed. You can switch the model inside any chat from the Change Model dialog.
• Images are unfiltered too. When a character sends an image, the image model runs without a safety checker. The adults-only rule applies to images exactly as it applies to text.

Why the big chatbots refuse

The filters on mainstream assistants are policy, not a technical limit.

• Character.ai removed open-ended chat for users under 18 in 2025 and keeps a content filter for adults; explicit roleplay is blocked. On 13 October 2026 the company announced a Chapter 11 process and a court-supervised sale.
• ChatGPT announced in October 2025 that verified adults would get an erotica mode. OpenAI delayed it to early 2026, then delayed it again in March 2026. As of October 2026 the default ChatGPT still refuses explicit content.
• Gemini runs under Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, which bans "sexually explicit content, for example content created for the purpose of pornography or sexual gratification" (last modified 17 December 2024).

Those rules are not going away, because each of those companies serves children and schools with the same product. An adults-only site can make a different choice.

What an unfiltered chat looks like

You open a character page, read the greeting and the scenario, and type. The character answers in a few seconds, in first person, with actions in asterisks and speech in quotes, the way roleplay chat has always been written. You can ask for an image at any point, and the character sends one that matches the scene. If an answer goes in a direction you did not want, you regenerate it or edit your own message and continue.

Nothing in the chat is pre-written. Every reply is generated for your conversation, so two people who open the same character get two different stories.

How to start

1. Browse the characters. The grid above shows the most popular ones; the tag index lists every archetype, from dominant to submissive and from romance to dark.
2. Open a character and read the scenario. No account is needed for this.
3. Create a free account when you want to send a message. It comes with 50 welcome coins, and the daily bonus adds more.
4. Chat. Each message costs coins, and the price depends on the model. When the welcome coins run out, a coin pack starts at $4.99, paid with crypto or Telegram Stars.

Privacy

The site stores your account, your chats and your purchases, and nothing else that identifies you. You can delete a chat or the whole account at any time. Payments go through NOWPayments or Telegram, so LewdChat.ai never sees a card number and nothing from the site appears on a bank statement.
